A PhD candidate in Brett Finlay's microbiology lab at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
In my work, I aim to further characterize the host-pathogen interaction between enteropathogenic Escherichia coli (EPEC) and human intestinal cells to understand how this pathogen causes diarrheal disease.
I am applying proteomics techniques to examine the molecular mechanisms that contribute to EPEC virulence.
